Then I cut up my bags-16 total (there is a tutorial here) and tied them on the wire.
It took about 3 hours to get them all tied on. Then I added a velvet like ribbon from some ribbon I got on clearance after Christmas. I LOVE the way this turned out. I will definitely be making more wreaths using plastic bags!

I love it, My mom made me a Christmas one a long time ago and it looks just like yours but round of course. I put it up every year, it really holds up well.

Cute! I made a few from black trash bags for Halloween a few years ago, but I love it in white!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, i have been wanting to make a new wreath for forever now, I just haven't wanted to go to the dang craft store and buy a styrofoam wreath, but I totally have a hanger, and plastic bags, thanks so much for sharing!
