My first frame

I made my first frame. Ed actually cut the wood but I assembled it and next time I will cut the wood myself. After a bit of trial and error I got it together. I don’t have any fancy tools for making frames but I found some tips online that helped a lot.

I made this frame out of cheap trim we picked up at the hardware store that was already primed. I painted it brown then decided I wanted it to be black instead. I think it looks good especially for my first time! :)

Here is a picture of the shelf I moved down to the dining room last week. I think it gives the room something it was lacking. I can’t wait till we get the table made next year! I also can’t wait to replace that horrible light above the table! Ick!!!
