Progress??? Yeah…some. I had wanted to show you my craft room put back together and clean, well it’s partially put back together and partially clean.
I got all the walls and trim painted.
I know, I know. It’s a mess. I will get it cleaned and better organized when I get my new desk.
Yes, even with all the painting I am doing I am still working on crafts. I have a HGUE to do list and I have to keep at it or I will never get done. I probably won’t ever get done anyway cause I keep adding to it!
And I am aware that I did not paint up to the ceiling. I figured since we are putting up crown molding it would just be a waste of my time and paint. But doesn’t the trim look so much better in WHITE???
The doors are in the loft with the first coat of primer on them. I had planned to paint the doors in the garage this summer but changed my mind (which I do quite frequently).
We picked up new hinges for the doors (brushed nickel) but are holding off on the door knobs right now. With all the doors we have in this house just replacing the hinges and knobs will cost over $600. It’s so sad because all I want to do is get away from that brassy finish and go to a more neutral brushed nickel and it’s going to cost a small fortune. It will look better though.
We did look at cleaning and painting the hinges and knobs and I tested it out on the knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Not too good. The painting is already chipping off.
It’s time to get back to paining--I mean painting. lol Every time I try to type painting it comes out paining…Hmmmm.
