Our stairs-THE REVEAL!

It’s finally time to reveal our new stairs! This post has been a long. time. coming. It took us most of this month to get this done. The finish work took the longest. Okay, well here they are! (Excuse the flash and so-so pics, my camera is 6 years old and on it’s last leg!)

I just LOVE them! Although…we are not done. Yes. I said it. We are not done. After putting up the B&B on the stairs and choosing NOT to put the ledge on the top I thought it looked kinda plain so we will be going back and adding cove to make it a little more decorative.

Oh and here’s the before. And you can go here to see what we were working with under that carpet.

Good bye “golden” oak. Good bye boring walls and orangey trim.

Hello beautiful Kona brown and white stairs!

When we bought this house I loved it. I loved the POTENTIAL it has so you know there is more work to be done but I am taking some time off to enjoy what we have done thus far.

You can go here to see details about how we did the stairs. :)

Next up I will show you the Board and Batten in our front entry way. Smile Visit again soon!
