Easter Eve

So this morning I got up, got the kids up and ready and we went to Kohl's to shop. Taking teenage girls to buy clothes WITH 4 year old boys is not exactly ideal but we made it through our trip (not unscathed though-they talked me into a hat for each of them and a baseball glove with ball!). The girls each got a new pair of carpris and tops and the boys got 2 shirts along with the items they extorted out of me. Kohl's is having their 'everything's on sale sale' an I had a 20% off discount on top of that so we did well. I also found a hurricane candle holder for our room at a good price and I will post pic of it when I figure out what to fill it with, not a candle though.

After shopping the boys played for a while, one outside, one inside. Around 11 am we decided to color the eggs, that wasn't too bad. Then the clouds rolled in so we had to make a mad dash out back to get the toys picked up. Ugh! Once the eggs dried the boys decorated them with stickers from the dye kits.

While we were waiting for the eggs to dry, the girls and I filled plastic eggs with candy for the egg hunt tomorrow. We ended up with 125 eggs. That is a lot and I numbered them so we don't lose any and find them in 3 months or Ed run them over with the mower. I bought candy for the eggs but did not realize it would fill THAT many eggs. WOW. They boys will love it though.

Ed is home from California now. There are no more trips for a while. Maybe we can get into a Spring/Summer routine now. We will start walking in the evenings after we give the boys bath, weather permitting. Hopefully it will help me to fit my rear back into my pants by June.

I finished cutting out the stencil for the saying I am putting in the playroom and got it taped up on the wall. I PLAN to get down there this week and finish the tree and do the saying. I also plan to finish Jessica's bag and make Marisa's as well. We'll see how much the boys let me get done.
