Ethan wanted a sad face, I guess to be different.

1:14 weather update: It is currently 38 and SUNNY!!! weather.com has it WRONG again. I guess whoever told them it was cloudy didn't look outside.

Well today is the 1st of March. I can actually see most of the grass and parts of the flower beds (they were covered pretty good from shoveling snow off the driveway). The temp is in the mid 30's which is an improvement. I know that will sound odd to some. :) I am still a bit queasy from having the flu but the dizziness is almost gone. I am still rather weak and will probably need a nap by the time the girls get home from school.
Due to me being sick I kept the boys home from school today. I don't feel up to driving and walking them in to the school would just expose everyone to the flu, not smart. We are going to do a St. Patty's Day craft after lunch. Right now they are watching PBS and playing with their TAG reading systems. Here are pics from this morning.
Yes, they are both wearing their new boots with PJ's. lol
We have started a sticker chart to motivate Ethan to use the potty. He doesn't seem to care at all about it but when I told him this morning that once he gets 8 stars he will get to paint a sun catcher (which I have on top of the frig) he got very excited. He now has 3 stars. I hope this works. I will have to run out and get more sun catchers but it's a small price to pay I think. Of course Edward will get to paint one as well-he is already potty trained. :)
I really like the new OS I am using (Windows 7). The picture organizer is pretty neat and I love the themes and backgrounds. The email client is nice too, better than Outlook Express for sure. Can't wait to see what else I can do with this!
Oh! I worked on the comments so feel free to try to leave one. I hope they work now. I am still learning to do this. :)
The boys look so interested in the TAG system. I'm glad they like them. Thanks for the suggestion. Sometimes you hit a home run with gifts and sometimes you strike out. Speaking of gifts, I'll have yours in the mail Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest.
ReplyDeleteWe are freezing. The thermometer says the temp is 43, but the winds are blowing up to 39 mph. Our chill factor is 33.
