Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
Today we are planning to work in the flower beds (stupid yard man never showed and I am put out with service people at this point after the problems with them last week) and spend the day making the kids do some very much needed manual labor. I think our children are too pampered...."Me touch dirt??? You have GOT to be kidding!!!". I think they will cope and MOVE ON. I think this is just a small way to help reimburse us for all the luxuries in life that we pay for (laptops, internet, cell phones with unlimited text, etc.). It's character building and free labor for us. I mean it's not like we are going to get out the lawn chairs and WATCH them work, we are going to be right down there next to them digging the weeds out of the flower bed too! And we all know how much I HATE bugs and creepy crawly things but I will be there (with gloves on and a small shovel in hand) digging too.
I hope all you Mom's enjoy your day and get to do whatever you want! (For most of us it's a good thing football season is way over!!! LOL)
