My Mother's Day weekend so far...

Well this morning Jessica and I got up and headed to Jefferson Pointe to go shopping. It was Jessica's late birthday gift (a shopping spree) and my Mother's Day gift (a shopping spree). We each bought some really cute clothes for Spring/Summer. I was happy that I could once again buy size 12 instead of 14 (I hate 14! Wish I were a 10 again but that will come in time). Most of my clothes from last year are 10 and small 12 so I don't really have much that fits right now. I bought some clothes a month or so ago but they were 14's and 12's that are now a bit big on me. I am going to end up with 3 sizes in my closet. I guess it's good that we have an extra bedroom and closet on top of our walk in. :) I also had my nails done today. I just didn't feel like getting a pedicure today so I will do that in 2 weeks when I go back for my nails. Jess and I also went and had our hair cut. Jess got an inch taken off, I had 6 inches taken off. I am sick to death of it getting stuck in my seatbelt, behind me when I sit, in my purse straps when I put my purse on my shoulder and it being in my face. I am much happier now. It's still long but not nearly as long and since there is less weight it will curl up more than before so that means it will take less effort for me to do my hair. For dinner tonight we ordered Carside to go from Applebees and I had one of their under 500 calorie meals. It was really good. Tomorrow we plan to work in the flower beds (not going to wait on the yard people anymore) and Ed is cooking steaks on the grill. Mmmmm. :) I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day.
