New photos

I have added new photos to flickr. I did not realize there is a monthly limit so I will probably see if photobucket has a similar gadget and if not I have a lot more space there for pics and I can just put a direct link to them.

We had a nice time getting the yard work done. The weather forecasters said it would NOT rain yesterday but it did and said it would rain today but have since changed their minds about that. After lunch we will head to the garage to work on the tables. We did find the correct mulch. No one at Lowe's could explain how the same mulch does not look the same. The stuff that is now there (exact same bag) does not even match the samples they set out so people don't rip the bags open. We got our money back and went to Menards and found what we wanted. It cost a few cents more per cu. ft. but the bags were smaller and easier to handle plus it was what we wanted. We still have a long way to go with the mulch but we are doing it a little at a time. I MIGHT get to finish the front next weekend if we can fit it in the budget. So far we have put out 73 cu. ft. of mulch. I estimate we will need 240 cu. ft. total. We still have quite a ways to go. I put pics of the flower beds on flickr. There are a lot of them. I did not get around to taking pics of the ones in back yet though. :)

This week is going to be excellent for us. Edward will only work 3 days (M-W) and he will only work 8 hours each day! He is taking off Thursday and Friday and we are going to have some much needed family time. The zoo has been open almost a month now and we have yet to go due to weather and his work schedule. Plus the boys last day of school is Friday and we are going to have lunch with them. I look forward to a relaxing week and having time to do some things around the house that we have been wanting to do but have not had the time.
