Hematologist

We met with the hematologist today and he thinks Marisa has something called Von Willebrand Disease but will confirm with the blood work he did today. If so, this is not life threatening but is something we need to know before surgery so they can prepare for it. If it is confirmed that she has this we will have the other children tested at their next check ups because it is hereditary. So we should be able to reschedule Marisa's surgery as soon as we get the results from the newest blood work. Yay!
