Marisa was supposed to go in for a tonsillectomy Friday. The last time she had surgery (her wisdom teeth were cut out) they had a hard time getting her bleeding under control so we shared that with the ENT. He wanted her to have a platelet test done before surgery, which I have to say was a pain because only 1 hospital in our city does that test and only certain days/times. So she had the test done yesterday morning and the pathologist called her ENT to tell them that it came out abnormal. They don’t yet have the report, all they know is that it is abnormal so they have cancelled her surgery and she now has an appointment with a Hematologist for next Friday. This is a bit scary for us. Please pray that everything is okay.
