What I need (besides a snow blower) is primer and paint. Really. I do have a hardly used 2 gallon bucket of primer but I need more. I need white paint too. I am over this stupid, ugly, orangey, oaky color all over my house. I want to paint and I want to paint RIGHT NOW. I am SERIOUSLY considering priming and painting the kids bathroom tomorrow. Why not take advantage of having free sitters??? If we have power and things are going okay I think I am going to get in there and get it primed. I will have to get paint next week so I can finish it up (won’t have time this weekend). Next up will be the laundry room then maybe the master bath or the kitchen (still debating that one). I am sick of the ick and I am sick of winter. I am going to fight it. It won’t stop me from doing what I want to do anymore. Oh and I ordered a free sample color from Valspar for the laundry room and it should be here sometime next week. Good.
Edward is getting excited (finally) about putting up crown molding and using his EasyCoper tool he got for Christmas. He is planning to start in the powder room which I have already painted. I am just happy that he is now getting motivated.
This monstrous storm is just now getting to us. We are prepared, as prepared as one can get I guess. I just want it and winter to be done and over with so I can go outside and do something.
