Today was a good day

Today I finally got the results from my yearly mammogram and all is well. I was a little stressed about it seeing we have a family history of breast cancer and I used to smoke (I know, nasty, icky habit-I haven't done so in years). I am also a natural worry wort which doesn't help matters so I was thrilled to find out all is well

Then our accountant called to tell us that our taxes are ready to sign. We have not gotten a return in many years. Last year it was so bad we ended up having to pay more than twice what we thought we would!!!! I was floored and MAD. Edward readjusted his deductions for 2010 and all year long I have prayed that we would break even. If we had to pay even $2 I was going to be angry. Well when she called today and I asked if we owed or got a refund I was so happy to hear that we are getting federal and state returns!!! Yay!!! It's not a lot ton of money but it's nothing to sneeze at either. We are going to use it to pay for stuff we had already planned to do around the house and for our vacation this summer (the part that is not paid with frequent flyer miles-LOL) which means the money we were going to have to save up for those things can go towards paying down our debt. I am THRILLED!!!

Just thought I would share my good news. Hopefully the trend continues when I take Marisa to the hematologist tomorrow. We don't want bad news.
