I have spent the last 3 days painting. I ventured out yesterday to Lowe’s and picked up white paint so I could move along with my project. So far the bathroom cabinet and the trim in the bathroom and part of the hall are done. I have to do the flip side of the doors and drawers today. There are now 3 coats of primer on the stair railing but I had some runs I had to sand and primer over yesterday so I got behind. I should get the 4th coat of primer on today-yes I want a good, thick base for my paint. I have learned that the better you primer the less you paint. I only put one coat of paint on what I have painted thus far and it won’t need a second. Primer is cheaper than paint too so that’s a bonus.

In other news Edward is on a plane headed back to Indiana as we speak. Won’t he be shocked going from Sunny California weather to wintery Indiana weather? And the snow mounds are pretty extreme. These are the highest I have seen since moving up here.
I won’t have time to get anymore painting done after today. Monday is Ethan’s appointment at Riley hospital in Indianapolis at the Autism Clinic for evaluation. I am hoping to get back to work on the bathroom (putting it back together) Tuesday or Wednesday. Next up we are adding the beadboard to the long wall but Friday Marisa is having her tonsils removed so I have no idea when we will get back to working on the bathroom. I just hope it is put back together by then.
